The Household Division Memorial

Located in the heart of the country within the National Forest near Lichfield, the National Memorial Arboretum comprises 150 acres of trees and memorials devoted to the concept of Remembrance and now includes the Household Division Memorial, unveiled and dedicated on 3rd December 2009.

More plaques will be shown as and when they are placed.

The photos displayed below were taken by Dennis Ward of the Burton - on - Trent branch, who has been so very instrumental in bringing about the inception of our memorial.

Included below on this page are links to the Bristol Grenadier Memoriam, the Help for Heroes site

and our visit to Alrewas in 2008.

Grenadiers of Mareth at Sfax Commonwealth Cemetery

O God grant that thy servants, the Grenadier Guards, may ever be mindful of their proud and costly heritage

They may so serve thee here in this life that they may be counted worthy to join those who now continue their service in the life to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord
